Women’s Resources Upcoming Events

Women’s Resources runs fundraising events throughout the year to supplement funding received from the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services. Our fundraising goal annually is $500,000. These events include our Marquee Event, CASH PLUS RAFFLE!, Extraordinary Women of Kawartha Lakes and our Direct Mail Campaign sent out in November. In addition, local businesses and individuals often host Third Party Events to benefit Women’s Resources. We are tremendously grateful for the community support we receive.

We also host events to bring community awareness to specific issues such as the Vigil on December 6, the National Day of Remembrance and Action Against Violence Against Women.
